How you can book your CSCS Card

The Basic Card to get for people without having any qualifications is the Green Labourer Card. To get this card, the person needs to pass the One Day Health and Safety Course to get his certification(Online or Classroom), and CITB Health, Safety and Environment test within the last 2 years which makes him eligible to apply for the CSCS Green Card.

You can apply for this card if you have Achieved a construction-related NVQ or SVQ level 2. All applicants must have passed the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment test within the last 2 years, at the relevant level for the occupation being applied for.

This card is for people who are working through probationary periods while employers assess their suitability for employment. You can only apply for a provisional card if you have not held a provisional card before. Applicants must have passed the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment test within the past two years.

This card is available to people who have commenced on a recognized apprenticeship framework. To apply for this card you will be required to submit A letter or email from the Managing Agency of your apprenticeship or apprenticeship training provider confirming that you are registered with them and which qualifications (with full titles and pathways).

This temporary card is available if you are a trainee and registered to complete a construction-related qualification. Applicants need to provide proof of registration for their qualifications. As a minimum, you are required to provide evidence from the college, University, or Professional Body to the individual that states their name (college, on headed/branded paper).

This temporary card is available specifically to Supervisors, Managers, and Technical Workers with on-the-job experience (normally at least one year in the last three) who are registered to complete a Construction Related Technical, Supervisory, or Management NVQ or SVQ at Level 3 or higher.

This temporary card is available specifically for workers with on-the-job experience (normally at least one year in the last three) who are registered to complete a Construction Related NVQ or SVQ Level 2 or higher which is acceptable for a CSCS card.

You can apply for this card if you have achieved a construction-related NVQ or SVQ level 3. All applicants must have passed the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment test within the last 2 years, at the relevant level for the occupation being applied for. This card is renewable.

You can apply for this card if you have achieved a construction-related Supervisory/Technical NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or 4 OR Occupational Work Supervision NVQ or SVQ Level 3 (including proof of endorsed occupation). All applicants must have passed the CITB Supervisors test within the last 2 years.

This card is available for managers and technical occupations. You can apply for this card if you have Achieved a Construction Management/Technical related NVQ/SVQ level 5, 6, or 7, A SVQ Level 4 in Construction Management/Technical related qualification, or Holding a pre-existing NVQ level 4 in construction management. All applicants must have passed the CITB Manager and Professional test within the last 2 years.

To apply for the card, applicants will need to supply a copy of their qualification and(construction-related degrees, HNDs, HNCs, CIOB Certificates, and NEBOSH diplomas) where possible evidence of the units achieved within the qualification.

This card is available to competence-assessed members of CSCS approved Professional Bodies. Applicants will need to supply proof of current membership certificate, A membership card on both sides confirming membership, A current up-to-date letter or email from the professional body, or A receipt of payment for membership for the current calendar year.
